It’s Beginning to Look A Lot Like…

dscf3702A failure of an indoor tree farm that only has one tree, which just so happens to be in the process of dying.

Yes, it’s that time again. Time for us to bake cookies, buy a dying Fraser fir tree, put it up in our house, shop for gifts for all of our friends and family members – you get the idea, it’s a jumble of actions that are all commonly associated with the winter holiday: Christmas!

Overall, though, it feels a lot less Christmas-y than usual this year. There are a good number of decorations up in our neighborhood, but there are hardly ever good Christmas songs on the radio and public schools in our area are only allowing students one week off. Since Christmas falls on a Sunday, schools are open the day after Christmas.

Anyway, we got our Christmas tree on Sunday. Last year our tree was a little small and we couldn’t fit all of our 1,000,000,000,000 ornaments on it, so this year, we made sure to get a sizable tree. I think it’s quite nice!
