Enjoying the Finer Things in Life

Oh, the sarcasm.

Recently, we’ve been having wine with our dinners. More specifically, about a tablespoon or so of wine with our dinners. Why? Well, there are supposedly health benefits for older people drinking wine in moderation, and it is certainly classy. But those really aren’t the reasons. We’re doing it more because my mom has always liked the way wine in wine glasses looks, and she’s always wanted to have glasses of wine with our meals. Now, all of her dreams are coming true.

While I can vouch for the attractiveness of a glass of red wine, I most assuredly cannot vouch for the quality of the wine we’re drinking. Now, I should mention that I know nothing about wine. I don’t know what makes a wine good or bad and I don’t even know what a good wine tastes like. Why do I have suspicions about the wine we’re drinking, then? My first clue was that the wine is in a plastic bottle. And it’s a screw top bottle.

Our glasses are nice, though!
