Traveling Vicariously – Again!

Posted: August 1, 2016 in Articles

My sister has just returned from a summer vacation with her boyfriend (now her fiancé). She went hiking up the Appalachian trail through Vermont and New Hampshire and then went to Montreal. Along the way, she took pictures of both scenic areas and city graffiti. The latter isn’t exactly a new sight, but it is pretty interesting graffiti. Definitely an upgrade from Philadelphia graffiti; those Philadelphians need to step up their graffiti game!

Anyway, it sounds like it was a great trip, and I thought I would share a few pictures. I might like to hike on the Appalachian trail and camp along the trail. I imagine there would be a lot of great scenery to see!

Note: My sister came to visit today and told us what a few of the sights are. The cathedral-looking thing is the Notre-Dame Basilica in Montreal. Most of the outdoorsy things are taken on the Appalachian trail except for the picture of the fountain, which is from a park in Montreal. The tents are, in fact, where they camped. My sister said it wasn’t too bad.
