Sweet Pickled Banana Peppers

A few days ago, we tried a recipe for sweet pickled banana peppers that doesn’t require a water bath.

The results were great. They are good and crunchy and we know they are going to be great in our submarine sandwiches, salads, and other dishes. So, today, we picked a lot of our banana peppers and also some jalapeno and some other hot peppers and we canned several pints tonight. We also pickled just a few jalapeno peppers because we didn’t know how they’d be, but they were really good so we are going to pickle a lot more tomorrow.

In the past, we’ve given our peppers a water bath but then they turn out soggy. With this recipe, since there is no water bath, they are nice and crisp!

If you have a lot of banana peppers, think about trying this recipe.
