Depressing News

According to our source of the day, there is an ISIS camp some miles away from El Paso in Texas. You probably already know this just like you probably know that we have enemies in every single state in America, except Alaska supposedly.

You also probably know that there has been some recent bad news about the beloved TSA. News about perverts who pick out the good-looking males so they can get their kicks while “patting” them down. News also about people having their belongings stolen by TSA workers.

So here we are, Americans, touched by weird people and getting ripped off by them, all for our “protection” while our borders are open. In fact, the US government goes out of its way to make sure the entire universe knows our borders are wide open.

The question is, how long will Americans remain silent? How long are Americans going to go along with the awful plans being planned against us?

We actually have stopped writing about a lot of political things because, well, everything seems so awful and downright terrifying that like a lot of people, we don’t like to think about it or dwell on it.

But while we stay close to home, physically and emotionally, what is happening in our country? If we are tuning out all the bad news, how many others are tuning it out? Oh yes, we read some of it (honestly, less and less each day), but how many horrible stories is one expected to absorb? And who knows what to do? What can anyone do but live their lives the best they know how and to make their lives as good as they are able to make them?

But we do wonder, what will happen in the near future and how bad is it going to be?

Scary and overwhelming at times. Especially when there is nothing we, as individuals, can do about it.

    • Agreed. Annoying, too. The people who have the power to do something, won’t or don’t. What’s the point of having people in power if they won’t exercise it for the good of the people?

… only as bad as your worst imagination, if nothing happens …
