Don Quixote

Now that I have finished reading Crime and Punishment, I am reading Don Quixote by Miguel de Cervantes. This book is about a crazy Spanish gentleman named Don Quixote who reads too many books on knighthood and chivalry and gets obsessed with being a knight. He dresses up in armor and rides around the country on his horse accompanied by his squire, Sancho Panza. He does some pretty crazy stuff like charging a windmill and attacking innocent people on the road. I’m not finished with the book yet. In fact, I’ve still got a lot more to go. That’s why every once in a while I’m going to say what Don Quixote is doing, as long as it’s worth saying. It’s way too long of a book to do updates every time he does something new, but if something very funny happens, I’ll go ahead and share it.  If you want to read the book your self, you can buy it here.

So far, he has attacked some Yanguesans who were feeding their horses in a valley, charged some merchants he met on the road, and charged a windmill that he thought was a giant. It’s a pretty funny book, and I hope it stays good, because it is 891 pages long!
